There are dozens of ways you can make money on the internet.

Unfortunately, some of them requires a team to be effective, like running an online magazine. While some are just plain unethical, and throws your integrity as a person out the window, such as online scams.

After you filter out those types of income opportunities, what’s left are your honest-to-goodness ways to make money online that any “one-man team” can achieve.

Here’s our Top 12, in no particular order:

#1 Sell products
Ever heard of eBay? A friend who sells her homemade jewelries there earns around $800 per month.

#2 Offer your services
Online marketplaces such as TaskRabbit allows people to earn from running errands. They claim that people can earn as much as $5,000 a month there.

#3 Teach online
At Udemy, you can become an online instructor and teach people real world skills through the internet. Someone I know has a mobile app development course there and he’s earning $2,000 a month from that alone.

#4 Create a blog
No need to explain what blogging is, but you should know that Darren Rowse and hundreds of others have admitted that they’re earning at least $20,000 a month as a professional blogger.

#5 Write articles
Don’t want to learn the technical side of blogging? Then sign-up for Hubpages and other similar portals and earn each time someone reads your article. You can easily make as much as $500 per month here.

#6 Do affiliate marketing
Sign up for ClickBank and earn as an affiliate by selling digital products. A friend has been utilizing this website for around 5 years and currently earns at least $2,000 a month.

#7 Trade forex
Fast and furious – that’s how many describe the forex market. Some claim they earn as much as $10,000 a month from trading forex. In my own experience, a consistent income of around $500 a month is easy enough to achieve if you take time to learn the proper skills.

#8 Be a community manager
Hang out often in Facebook? Then work as a community manager and handle the Facebook page of a business. In the U.S., social media managers can earn as much as $3,000 a month.

#9 Work as a virtual assistant
Be an online staff and do admin work for a remote client. VA’s from oDesk-Elance can earn as much as $4,000 a month from doing this.

#10 Do creative work
There are a lot of places where graphic designers can make money online. You can check out 99Designs where people claim to earn around $1,000 a month.

#11 Sell stock photography
If you’re a photographer, then you can earn income by selling your stock photos in Getty Images and other stock photo marketplaces. The median income for this ranges to around $800 a month.
