Why should you hire me? I studied Bachelor of Science in Development Communication major in Development Journalism at the Visayas State University and graduated April 5th of 2013.

I have worked as a Science Communication Specialist at the Research Programs Office, under the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension at the Visayas State University. My contract just ended last December 31, 2014. Too, I passed the Civil Service Examination (Professional) last April 6, 2014. I have conducted a study on the “Use of a Social Networking Site to Build, Maintain and Bond Social Capital among VSU College Students” as my undergraduate thesis with the guidance of Dr. Monina M. Escalada, University Professor and an International Scientist, as my adviser.

I have designed and developed promotional materials for the Department of Food Science and Technology and National Coconut Research Center when I was still in college. These promotional materials were leaflets and brochures to promote the products manufactured by these institutions. Moreover, I have documented seminars and trainings for the NorWeLeDePAI, a project under World Vision International and facilitated youth camps and youth congress of the sponsored children of NorWeLeDePAI.

Furthermore, I have experienced facilitating Vacation Bible School and outreaches for Ormoc City Baptist Church and covered the Farmers and Fisher folks Day at Visayas State University on its 85th to the 89th founding anniversary. I have also experienced organizing communication campaigns and programs, pretesting and content analyzing communication materials such as magazines, newspapers, leaflets, brochures and others.
