My transcribing experience can be traced back to my undergrad years, which I spent as a writer and later on an editor of DLSU’s official student publication, where I interviewed a lot of people and transcribed a lot of minutes’ worth of interviews. I also have experience transcribing key informant interviews and focus group discussions for theses (my own included). I type pretty fast at 110 WPM. It changes a lot these days, but 110 is the ballpark figure. I’m mainly offering these services to get back into the swing of things in preparation for graduate school (which I am applying to this summer) in two ways: to enhance my typing and retention skills, and to earn some side cash for tuition and fees.
